Tahir Duckett


CRIMINAL JUSTICE

Tahir Anderson Duckett has spent fifteen years listening, advocating, and organizing in communities across the country. He is the Executive Director of a new academic center at Georgetown University Law Center focused on community safety. He recently practiced at Relman Colfax, a nationally renowned civil rights law firm where he focused on discriminatory policing, housing, and education. He was also a founding executive committee member of Law For Black Lives-DC, an organization providing legal and policy support to the Movement for Black Lives in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
