Mary Annaïse Heglar is a writer, editor, teacher, and the cocreator and cohost of Hot Take. In 2020, she joined Columbia University’s writer-in-residence program, a joint initiative between Columbia University’s Earth Institute and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Additionally, she contributed an essay to All We Can Save, edited by Drs. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Katharine K. Wilkinson.
