arii lynton-smith has a BA in cultural nonprofit administration (concentrations in anthropology, human geography, Pan-African studies, and nonprofit studies) from the University of Louisville. they facilitate and teach courses with college students and community centers. arii is a freelance writer and digital media manager. they focus their work on practicing the world in which they envision that actively supports QTBIPOC. In 2020, arii launched their mutual aid project apothecary, where they sell herbal medicine on a pay-what-you-can basis. they are also a member of Aflorar Herb Collective, an herbal mutual-aid network that provides herbal medicine to organizers and activists across the country.
