Angela Hanks

Angela Hanks is currently the Acting Assistant Secretary of Employment & Training Administration at the Department of Labor. Her previous role was as deputy executive director at Groundwork Collaborative and Chief Legal Counsel at the Department of Labor. She previously worked as director of workforce development policy at the Center for American Progress, and senior federal policy analyst at the National Skills Coalition. She also formerly worked for the Democratic staff of the House Oversight and Government Reform committee and was a legislative assistant to former U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD).
